Topic: Issues With PN532

Having issues getting my computer to see the PN532 breakout from Adafruit, I got the FTDI cable and inserted it into the FTDI pins on the board with the black wire on the left hand side. I put both jumpers in the "off" position. I attempted to open the device with libnfc 1.4.1, 1.4.2 and 1.7.1. With 1.4.x using nfc-list and 1.7.1 just opening it in some code. None of these report the device being open, but the FTDI cable does flash. I am running Ubuntu 15.10 on Virtualbox 5.0.1 r102021 with guest extensions install on Windows 10 x64. The FTDI cable does show up in /dev/.

I used

./configure --with-drivers=pn532_uart --enable-serial-autoprobe
sudo make install

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Issues With PN532

I decided to try Windows, but I can not manage to get it to build a x64 target.
