Topic: libnfc 1.4.x releases
Dear NFC-enthusiasts, hackers and developers,
After long time, we finally release a 1.4.0 version of libnfc which comes with a lot of fixes, improvements and changes.
We have made great efforts to introduce as best as possible emulation capabilities.
For this version, many people helped us with feedback, patches, point of view, etc.
I don't remember each name or nickname but I would like to thanks all contributors: that's really a pleasure to build something together.
We also would like to thanks two manufacturers for offering NFC devices to libnfc's team members:
SCM Microsystem with four SCL3711 devices and
SensorID with four StickID devices.
Even we have had many contributions, none comes from Windows users. Due to this lack of contributions on this system, Windows support is not provided with this version.
We are looking for some Windows users to contribute to CMake files in order to compile it using MinGW (MSVC is not supported anymore due to the lack of C99 support)
You could find archives¹ and human-readable ChangeLog² at usual places.
